Secondary Educator for Extended Year (English Learners Grades 6-8)

Start Date: 06-05-2026Classes are June 8th - June 26th, 2026.Grades 6th-8th grades25-30 hrs per weekThis is a 3-week program to support English learners in grades 6-8.Bachelor's degree in education and a current teaching license, with emphasis in ELA.Focus will be on speaking, reading and writing comprehension, providing strategies to support English Language Acquisition.Experience working with multilingual learners is preferred.Working in both elementary and secondary levels is a plus as well as TESOL and/or ESL endorsement and use of WIDA standards to support instruction.ESL Endorsement or TESOL certification with knowledge of WIDA, SIOP and ELD Standards to support instruction is recommended.
