The Senior Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing day-to-day foodservice operations while delivering an exceptional dining experience. This role leads and develops a team, manages client relationships, and owns the financial and operational performance of the account.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily foodservice operations while operating within the approved budget and maximizing value for the client
Ensure food quality is consistently high and exceeds expectations
Direct and enforce safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
Build and maintain strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with other departments
Develop, mentor, and grow talent across the team
Foster strong interdepartmental partnerships and integrate dining services into overall facility operations
Drive operational excellence, food cost control, and account profitability
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of five years of proven leadership experience
Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience, including inventory and purchasing
Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, presentation, and cost controls
P&L accountability and contract-managed services experience preferred
ServSafe certification a plus
Forward-thinking, proactive leader who serves as the visible face of the company
