Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job description:We are a full service midtown MEP Engineering Consulting Firm seeking a senior mechanical engineer. Our office is involved with new construction and renovation projects including office interiors, commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, academic and cultural facilities, residential buildings, restaurants and mixed-use facilities.Skills required:An overall understanding of MEP systems, with a thorough knowledge of building related including design.Mechanical systems such as HVAC and Controls.Previous experience in residential/commercial building design.Independently solve diverse mechanical issues.Actively participate in design reviews.Effectively communicate ideas and results to other engineers and management.Analyze reports, maps, studies, drawings, photos and other data.Visit project sites to verify conditions and/or photograph site.Correspond with clients, agencies and contractors.Qualifications:Required a minimum of 4 years of engineering/design experience.A degree from an accredited engineering program.Proficient in design layout and specification writing.Must have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.Candidate shall have excellent verbal and written communication skills, both within the office and with clients, architects and sub-consultants.Familiarity with report writingProfessional Salary Range - submit requirementsEmail resumeJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offPay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
