Travel Physical Therapist - Brockton, MA

A dynamic opportunity for a Physical Therapist with acute care experience awaits in Brockton, MA. This travel position offers the chance to work within a busy inpatient rehab department providing physical therapy services across inpatient floors and supporting outpatient surgery patients. The role requires a dedicated PT to deliver expert care to a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric, with musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical needs.Responsibilities:Provide skilled physical therapy treatments to inpatients throughout the hospital.Support outpatient surgical patients 1 to 2 days per week at the outpatient surgery center.Utilize expert patient handling and transfer techniques.Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, physicians, and case management.Manage time effectively to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced acute care environment.Maintain clear and timely documentation of patient progress.Qualifications & Experience:Minimum of 1 year experience in physical therapy within an acute care setting; over 2 years preferred.Massachusetts Physical Therapy licensure.CPR certification (AHA BLS Healthcare Provider).Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Strong time management, flexibility, self-direction, and multitasking abilities.Schedule:8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM).Every other weekend coverage.No on-call responsibilities.Location Insight - Brockton, MA:Brockton offers a vibrant community rich in history and accessible amenities, located conveniently within reach of Boston.
