This is an outside sales role focused on developing new client relationships and expanding our international logistics footprint. The right person for this role enjoys serving others yet is competitive by nature and has a history of quantifiable new business growth. The individual will have autonomy and freedom to pursue new accounts across the country.The candidate will be supported by our experienced domestic and international operations teams while enjoying the autonomy to manage their schedule and build their client base. The role requires regular in-person meetings with customers and prospects throughout the territory, with occasional out-of-state travel as opportunities arise.Key ResponsibilitiesClient AcquisitionIdentify, target, and win new business accountsDeliver creative, customized logistics solutions that generate recurring revenueRelationship ManagementBuild trusted, long-term client relationships that drive repeat business and referrals. Lead account implementation meetings and ongoing account reviews. Maintain regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and growthSales PresentationsDevelop and present compelling proposals that clearly articulate Global4PL's value and services. Negotiate and close deals with favorable terms for both clients and the company.Market InsightsMonitor industry trends and competitive activity to inform sales strategy.CollaborationPartner with operations, pricing, and leadership teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.CRM ManagementMaintain accurate CRM records of client activity, pipeline and performance.QualificationsExperience: Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in freight forwarding.Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation and presentation abilities.Knowledge: Must have a deep understanding of selling International Freight Forwarding services. Experience with domestic transportation, customs regulations and trade compliance is a plus.
