Warehouse AssociateThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe handling of Adams Beverages products in the warehouse. Assignments may include duties such as order selecting, truck loading, unloading, receiving, repacking product, replenishing, counting inventory, and dock management. Some roles may require experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment. The position reports directly to the Warehouse Managers, Director of Operations, VPs, Branch Managers, and Ownership. This is a non-exempt position. Roles are assigned based on experience and performance.Primary ObjectivesProfessionalismCommunicationPositive AttitudeAttendanceAbility to work a flexible schedule including a 4 or 5 day work weekMaintain a neat and clean physical appearancePerform warehouse duties such as truck loading, order picking/building, inventory management, etc.Perform Warehouse Management System (WMS) functions using technology (iPod/iPad)Safely and properly operate forklifts and/or walkie-ridersMaintain certification(s) required to operate equipmentPreserve general maintenance of equipmentEnsure loads are built and loaded accurately in a timely mannerLoad and unload delivery trucksProperly rotate stock according to Anheuser BuschUphold appearance and sanitation of facilityHandle inventory safely and carefullyPrepare and sort damaged product for repackReport any and all safety concerns immediatelyContinued education programs as requiredEncompass TrainingBrewU curriculum/coursesSafety compliance knowledgeUnderstanding of the total product portfolio (brands and packages)Complete any additional tasks assigned by management teamDevelopment of the PositionEducation of company procedures, policies, and servicesGeneral Warehouse RequirementsMust be at least 18 years of ageEnthusiastic team player interested in positive company growthUnderstanding of company policies and the ability to adhere to themAbility to read code dates, product labels, and racking labelsBasic math skills such as counting, adding, and subtractingForklift certification & experience (for certain roles)Education and ExperienceMinimum of High School Diploma or GEDPhysical DemandsThese physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
