Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our full-time urgent care team in Victoria, Texas. This role is ideal for clinicians who are comfortable working independently in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment and caring for patients across the lifespan. Practice Details Clinic Location: 3002 Sam Houston Dr, Victoria, TX 77904Clinic Hours:Mon Fri: 8:00 AM 8:00 PMSat Sun: 8:00 AM 4:00 PMSetting: Walk-in urgent carePatient Population: Infant to geriatric Position Highlights Full-time scheduleHigh-autonomy urgent care practiceEstablished clinical workflows and operational supportTreat a broad mix of urgent care cases and occupational health visitsPerform procedures including suturing and initial x-ray interpretation Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent care patients of all agesManage patient volume efficiently while maintaining quality carePerform urgent care procedures and interpret diagnosticsProvide clear discharge instructions and follow-up plansDocument care accurately in the EHRCode and bill appropriately for services renderedPractice in accordance with NextCare clinical standards and policies Required Qualifications Prior urgent care experience (required)Active, unrestricted Texas NP or PA licenseActive DEA (or ability to obtain)PA: NCCPA certificationNP: ANCC or AANP certification (Family Nurse Practitioner required)Comfortable treating all age groups independentlyActive BLS certificationEHR proficiencyAbility to work weekends and holidays as scheduledDOT certification required or willingness to obtain (training provided) Preferred Experience Multiple years of urgent care or ED fast-track experienceStrong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)Initial x-ray interpretation experience Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensationCME and license reimbursementMalpractice insuranceMedical, dental, and vision coveragePaid time off (PTO)401(k) planLife and disability insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramVoluntary supplemental benefits Interested?
