Systems Engineer

This organization leverages deep customer and domain knowledge to provide systems engineering and integration offerings for large, complex projects, primarily serving the U.S. federal government.The Role Provide technical leadership and hands-on development for commercial cloud solution architectures Plan, design, and manage migration, re-platforming, integration, implementation, and operation of complex cloud environments Ensure commercial cloud service offerings adhere to DoD Cloud Computing policy/guidelines Provide specific, detailed information for hardware/software selection and cloud service provider selection Maintain technical expertise in cloud computing, virtualization technologies, and industry standards Participate in establishing strategic plans and objectives, recommending decisions on project mattersWhat You'll Need Ten or more years of experience in systems engineering Active DoD Secret Clearance and IAT Level III certifications (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH) Computing Environment (CE) certification for Cloud or virtualization (e.g., Azure, AWS), with a preference for Azure Proficient knowledge of Redhat Enterprise Linux and command line administration In-depth understanding of Terraform, Terraform state management, and Cloud Formation Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines using GitLab-CI and troubleshooting connectivity issues in DoD networking infrastructureWhat's On Offer Opportunity to support critical IT Service Management efforts for USTRANSCOM Work on modernizing infrastructure, systems, and applications for a combatant command Collaborate on complex programs, providing strategic advice and technical guidance Be part of a team dedicated to technical excellence and mission focusApply via Haystack today!
