An established Academic Hospital is currently seeking a Nephrologist to join their growing team at their Bronx site! About the Opportunity: Setting: Hospital, mix of OP and IP clinical responsibilities, Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 9am to 5pm Call: shared Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat kidney diseases, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and end-stage renal disease. Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. Manage patients on dialysis. Conduct office visits for follow-up care, medication management, and patient education. Perform hospital rounding and admissions for nephrology patients. Round at dialysis centers to monitor treatment progress and address patient concerns. Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of nephrology fellowship. Board certification or eligibility in nephrology. NY State medical license. Strong clinical skills and excellent bedside manner. Your privacy is important to us.
