The ideal candidate will have prior management experience with medical front office, call center and insurance verification. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day departmental operations including scheduling for multiple providers, insurance verifications and updates, communication of financial responsibility to patients, working closely with practice locations staff and managers, workflow process improvements and analytical reporting.RequirementsThree (3) years' work-related in insurance verification, front office, claims, billing, or call center, management Experience using Availity and Insurance Payor websites to obtain insurance benefitsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong Analytical SkillsProficient computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office specifically ExcelBilingual (Spanish) a plusExcellent Customer Service SkillsAbility to work independently with little or no supervisionAbility to think independently, multi-task and motivate and lead a team of 20+ staff.ResponsibilitiesAssure appropriate staffing to meet productivity goalsTraining and coaching staffAnalyzing current workflows to assure utmost efficienciesManaging staff productivity, quality and effectivenessAssuring staff are following organizational policies and proceduresEvaluate departmental performance and implement process improvements when neededAnalytical reporting - Call center statistics, Insurance verificationsWork closely with practice managers/staff to assure we are providing the best service possiblePhysical DemandsCoordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of office equipment as required of the position or directed by the Manager.
