The successful candidate will also serve in the roles of facility Risk Manager, Compliance Officer, and Patient Safety Officer. This key position involves being the hospital's representative to insurance and other associated companies, as well as being responsible for the reporting and interpretation of quality metrics and the implementation of improvement measures. A critical aspect of the role is ensuring the hospital meets all necessary quality, risk, and compliance standards, and the VP will be expected to have a hands-on approach to these responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have an active NM RN license, a minimum of 5 years' experience in hospital quality, risk, and compliance at a Supervisor/Manager level, and a BSN or Master's degree. A CPHQ certification is preferred.
