The Head of Public Product Development & Commercialization leads a department of experienced professionals responsible for new concept generation, the public product pipeline, competitive intelligence, and product commercialization across all asset classes Key Responsibilities and Duties Drives team strategy for commercialization of focus products in support of target AUM raise figures across intermediaries and platforms Coordinates commercialization efforts through partnership with key stakeholders including the distribution team, the investment team, marketing, compliance, legal, and IT Responsible for competitive intelligence development and facilitates usage by distribution teams Establishes strategic direction for new product development across all public product wrappers Partners across Public Product Development & Commercialization and Public Product Management & Fund Finance teams on new product development and works to facilitate a seamless transition through the governance and launch process Partners with senior leadership to establish and execute upon firm-wide strategic objectives including target AUM raise, focus product selection, and progress towards key financial metrics Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure achievement of team objectives and individual team member development while fostering a culture of inclusion Works with external partners including index providers, external counsel, industry associations, trade publications, and data vendors to remain current and forward thinking with industry trends Interacts with and presents to the Trust Company Board during regularly scheduled meetings Educational Requirements University (Degree) Preferred Work Experience 8+ Years Required; 10+ Years Preferred Physical Requirements Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work Career Level 10PL Related Skills Commercial Mindset, Consultative Communication, Continuous Improvement Mindset, Investment Strategy Acumen, Market/Industry Dynamics, Nuveen Products/Services Acumen, Product Design, Product Development, Product Management, Product Opportunity Assessment, Product Performance/Improvement Monitoring, Research Synthesization, Technical Writing Anticipated Posting End Date: 2024-09-11 Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
