Project Manager - Operations Consolidation
Job description: Project Lead Operations ConsolidationThis person will lead and coordinate a cross-functional plant consolidation, including:Operations & Production TransferPlanning and execution of equipment and production transfer, capacity ramp-up, and continuity of supplyERP & SystemsManaging a temporary dual-ERP environment, coordinating data, workflows, and supporting evaluation of a longer-term ERP approachFinance & ReportingEstablishing clear cost tracking, reporting structure, and performance visibility during and after the transition**Commercial & Customer CommunicationIdentifying impacted customers, coordinating communication plans, and ensuring continuity of service****Supply ChainManaging supplier alignment, material flow, and risk mitigation during the transition****Organizational & HR CoordinationSupporting internal communication, role clarity, and retention considerations tied to the transition****ExpectationsProvide end-to-end project leadership across functions (operations, finance, IT, commercial, HR)Drive structure, prioritization, and accountability in a complex, evolving environmentIdentify and manage risks, dependencies, and tradeoffsMaintain clear communication and alignment with leadership and cross-functional teamsDeliverablesIntegrated project plan and timeline across all workstreamsDefined milestones and transition phases for production transferClear ownership and accountability structure across teamsOngoing risk tracking and mitigation plansRegular status updates and decision support for leadershipSuccessful transition of production with minimal disruption to customers and operationsTiming & StructureStart: ImmediateDuration: Through NovemberTime commitment: Variable (higher during key transition phases)Location: Primarily remote, with periodic on-site presence as needed*** Qualifications: *** ***The Project Manager needs to have their PMP as well as manufacturing operations experience.
