Job DescriptionUp to a $20,000 sign-on bonus available for select med surg RN night shift positions!Saint Luke's East Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Cardiovascular Recovery Unit.Position: Registered Nurse - CVRUSchedule: Full Time, 36 Hours/Week - NightsJoin a dynamic and collaborative cardiac and critical care team where your expertise and clinical judgement truly make a difference. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures, as well as managing acute and critical diagnoses. The RN functions with a high degree of clinical judgement, accountability, and critical thinking while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Patient Population & Clinical FocusThe RN will care for patients with, but not limited to:Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)Pacemaker placementPeripheral vascular proceduresInterventional radiology (IR) proceduresRespiratory failureDKA/insulin dripsPost-STEMI recoveryOther acute and complex cardiac and critical care diagnosesFunctions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
