Job DescriptionDescriptionSAIC is seeking an Army Training Developer and Trainer with experience in DoD air defense Command and Control (C2) Systems , operations, fielding, training and systems integration to support our Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) team in Huntsville, AL.The Army Training Developer/Trainer will be responsible but not limited to the following:Become fully trained on the IBCS Major End Items (MEI)Begin planning for New Equipment Training (NET) at the onset of program initiationPlan for Delta-NET at the onset of program initiationConduct training to Field Service Experts (FSE) to ensure they can fully support the units they are assigned toEmploy the most cost-effective and feasible training strategy to conduct NETInclude in NET, training on the training support components provided at NET that enable unit leaders to sustain operator and maintainer proficiency on the new/improved equipment after NETCoordinate plans for NET training and training support with MATDEV, TNGDEV, CAPDEV, testers, and user ACOMs, ASCCs, and DRUsCoordinate NET funding requirements with designated PEOs and PMsEnsure NET support components are developed in accordance with the Army Training and Education Development (ED) process and Army training support design standardsEnsure embedded training requirements and computer-based instructions are developed in accordance with the system capabilities document during the initial development processEnsure effectiveness of NET and training support components are validated (by the responsible training proponent(s)) and on-hand before the conduct of NETReview basis of issue plan feeder data for new and improved equipment in accordance with AR 71-32Prepare a Qualitative and Quantitative Personnel Requirements Information document in accordance with AR 71-32QualificationsEducation Requirements:* Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years' experience; additional six (6) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degreeClearance Requirements:* Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship requiredRequired Experience and Skills:IAT Level II certification obtained (e.g., Security+ CE) within 180 days of hire in accordance with DOD 8570/8140 requirements and company policy (active Security + CE is highly preferred)Must have the ability to review and develop training material utilizing TRADOC guidance, assist in the management of the training of soldiers and DoD civilians including training schedulesFamiliarity with equipment such as C2 systems, tactical radios, tactical computersDemonstrated experience developing, editing, and writing training material IAW AR350-1 and TRADOC Reg. 350-70Practical knowledge and experience working with the Training Development Capability (TDC)Experience in fielding and integration training at the user or staff levelMust have good communication skills and be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment supporting a diverse customer base comprised of engineers, analysts, developers, and specialistsOverviewSAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.SAIC is a premier Fortune 500 mission integrator focused on advancing the power of technology and innovation to serve and protect our world.
