Whether your strengths are in inclusion, resource support, or a self-contained classroom, this role can be aligned with your experience. $3,000 assignment bonus is available for this position — ask us for details!Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Special Education or Related Field Experience working with early childhood-aged students (3-5 years old) Teaching Certification with Schools Special Education Endorsement or emergency certification Special Education Teaching Endorsement must meet position requirements -Multicategorical /Cross categorical, intellectual, learning, and/or emotional disability special education certifications may be accepted. Contract Details:Specialties/Unit: Early Intervention, ASD, Developmental Disabilities, Emotional Disturbances Full Time | 35 hours per week | Mon - Fri Provide individualized and small-group special education instruction to early childhood students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Implement developmentally appropriate practices that support cognitive, social-emotional, communication, adaptive, and motor skill development Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and administrators to ensure consistent support across environments Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring, providing clear documentation and recommendations Conduct observations and assessments to inform instructional planning and IEP goal development Support inclusion by modeling strategies, accommodations, and behavior supports within natural learning environments Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with IDEA, state regulations, and district policies Communicate regularly with families to share progress, strategies, and resources Travel between assigned locations within Delaware County as part of the itinerant schedule Join SHC and experience award-winning support for school professionals.
