Mechanical Design Engineer - Robotics

Title: Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: San Francisco, CAType: Full-TimeWe are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in robotics or hardware design. The role focuses on owning mechanical subsystems from concept to physical prototype, including CAD design, fabrication, testing, and iteration. Candidates should be hands-on with SolidWorks, 3D printing, CNC machining, FEA/topology optimization, and comfortable integrating mechanical systems with motors, sensors, and electronics. Onsite in San Francisco, 5 days/week is required.Key Requirements:BS in Mechanical Engineering2+ years of mechanical design experience in robotics/hardwareHands-on prototyping/fabrication experienceStrong CAD skills, ideally SolidWorksExperience with FEA or topology optimizationRobotics/hardware startup or hands-on engineering team experience preferredWilling to work onsite in San Francisco 5 days/week
