Group Facilitator
Position Overview
ARRIVE DVI Education provides Attorney General–approved Domestic Violence Education classes designed to encourage personal accountability and the elimination of abusive behavior. This position facilitates group learning and educational sessions. Please note: This is not a therapy role. Facilitators are responsible for providing education, guiding discussions, and fostering a safe and respectful learning environment for participants.
Responsibilities
Facilitate group sessions focused on domestic violence education and accountability.
Provide education—not therapy—to participants, following ARRIVE’s approved curriculum.
Maintain professionalism and consistency by facilitating the same weekly sessions.
Ensure all required documentation, attendance records, payments, and reports are completed and submitted on time.
Adhere to ARRIVE DVI Education’s policies and standards as directed by the Program Director or designee.
Model respectful communication and nonviolent behavior throughout all interactions.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, or a related field is required.
(This requirement is non-negotiable.)
Knowledge and Skills
Strong understanding of domestic violence dynamics and the power and control model.
Experience in group facilitation or education settings preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including conflict resolution and public speaking.
Professional integrity, diplomacy, discretion, and tact.
A sense of humor and the ability to engage diverse participants constructively.
Computer Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, OneDrive, and email/web-based communication.
Additional Details
This is a contract position.
Facilitators must commit to 2½ to 3 hours per group session.
Groups are currently available in Oklahoma City.
