Job Description: Reporting to the Production Manager, Machine Operator is responsible for responsible for setting up and operating machinery and equipment with specified materials or solution(s). Job Type: Full time, onsite Schedule: Varies by shift and department Compensation: Starting hourly rate of $21.00 an hour. Additional shift differentials are offered for 2nd and 3rd shift. A .50 an hour increase is given after 90 days of employment. A $3,000 retention bonus will be paid out in $1,000 increments at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year. Responsibilities Conform to all safety guidelines and procedures Operate equipment according to SOP and specifications provided Regulate machine speeds, temperature, air pressure, circulation flow and coatings to material(s), if applicable Consistently check material to ensure in-depth quality measures Assist in weekly preventative maintenance and cleanings Sustain housekeeping guidelines Operate warehouse equipment (may apply) All other duties, as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines Must be able to climb multiple steps, lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Must be willing and able to work as a team member Basic reading, writing and math skills Must be able to be fit for a respirator, if applicable Successful candidates will have strengths in the following: Attention to detail Proficient communication skills Problem analysis and solving competencies Team-oriented Benefits As a valued Trelleborg team member, you will enjoy: Competitive salary Generous benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life, 401k Tuition Reimbursement Paid time off Paid holidays Employee assistance program A rewarding career with greater opportunity for impact Trelleborg is an equal opportunity employer!
