Job Title:Engineering AdministratorDate:April 2026Reports To:Head of Watermakers EngineeringDivision:Power & PropulsionFunction:EngineeringLocation:Beloit, WI or Shreveport, LASummaryFairbanks Morse is looking for an Engineering Administrator to join our team. This role will primarily support on Watermakers aftermarket, including evaporators, distilling plants, Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems, and related equipment, with secondary support for new products including Diesel Engines and Generator Sets. This role will interact with adjacent departments including Aftermarket Sales, Program Management, Quality, Purchasing, Production, and Engine Division Engineering team.Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesProcess engineering releases and changes, including items, drawings, and bills of materialsPrimary focus on Beaird/Maxim Aftermarket.Secondary support for engine product linesFind and distribute legacy records including engineering, quality, purchasing, and sales documentsIdentify parts and suppliersIdentify potential replacements for obsolete partsOther duties as required.Qualifications and Educational Requirements1+ year experience in a role creating and distributing engineering documentation1+ year experience in non-engineering role receiving, using, and providing feedback on engineering documentation.Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings and bills of materialsUnderstanding of engineering document release and control processes in a production environment.Experience with evaporative and RO watermaker products preferred.Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle and Infor Visual preferred)Excellent communication skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft office products including Excel & Word5% travelThis position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirement, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship.
