IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW = Sr. SQL Developer IN Hartford, CT – Hybrid Job Title: Sr. SQL DeveloperJob Location: Hartford, CT (HYBRID-3O/2R)Duration: Long Term ContractMust Have: Financial Client ExpRequired Skills• 5+ years of strong SQL Development experience. • Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server. • Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries. • Advanced experience with SQL query optimization and performance tuning. • Strong knowledge of execution plans, indexing strategies, joins, subqueries, CTEs, temporary tables, and window functions. • Strong experience developing Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers. • Experience working with large volumes of data and complex relational databases. • Strong understanding of data flow and data lineage. • Experience with data transformation, data validation, reconciliation, and data quality. • Strong database design and data modeling knowledge. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Experience with ETL/data integration technologies. • Experience with SSIS or similar data-integration tools. • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Agent. • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling. • Experience with Azure/AWS data services is a plus. • Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus. • Experience working in Agile development environments. • Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar development/project management tools.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a strong SQL Server Developer with Financial Services experience who can independently work on complex database and data-related problems.The role is particularly focused on:• SQL Server development • Complex SQL formulation • SQL query optimization & performance tuning • Stored procedures and database programming • Data manipulation and transformation • End-to-end data flow • Data validation and reconciliation • Financial/investment dataThis is not primarily a reporting or front-end BI role.
