Overview:
In this role you will lead tech planning, design, and integration across the full system life cycle for space-focused software and hardware solutions. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into deployable system architectures, ensuring cyber security, scalability, and adherence to schedules and costs. You’ll contribute to deployment pipelines and use cases, shaping mission-critical space systems. A TS/SCI clearance to start enables access to sensitive programs.

Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end system life cycle activities (concept to disposal) across SW/HW componentsAnalyze, design, develop, test, and validate software and systemsTranslate customer requirements into total system solutions aligned with tech, schedule, and cost constraintsCreate interface definitions, conduct trade studies, and allocate requirements to HW/SW featuresApply standards, processes, and tools across the development lifecycleIncorporate cyber security standards and user feedback to refine softwareIdentify and fix program errors; prepare operation manuals and development documentationValidate feature incorporation and use-case realization in implemented designs
Key requirements:
- TS/SCI clearance to startExperience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a collaborative and team-based environmentCI/CD pipelines and/or tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
- Demonstrated Python development experienceFront-end development experience using JavaScriptExperience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
