Other Schools and InstructionBusiness Schools and Computer and Management TrainingHome Health Care ServicesNursing Care Facilities (Skilled Nursing Facilities)Junior CollegesHere’s What You’ll Be DoingCreates and teaches a variety of group aquatic exercises, such as Shallow Water, Deep Water, Water Zumba, low and/or high intensity classes, Aqua Bootcamp, etc. Educates participants on proper techniques and to maximize exercise safety and effectiveness Builds relationships and trust with community members Remains current in necessary certifications Teaches/co-teaches progressive swim lessons and including but not limited to, teaching swim skills/techniques, stroke refinement, and diving safety techniques. Implements lesson plans and supervises program sessions according to class schedule. Lifeguarding What You’ll Need To Be Successful18+ years of age 2+ years related or equivalent experience (preferred) Current Lifeguard/CPR/AED and First Aid certification; if not current, will need to obtain within 6 months of hire date Current Swim lesson instructor certification; if not current, will need to obtain within 6 months of hire date Experience in water/aquatic exercise instruction (preferred) Experience in teaching swim lessons (preferred) Be able to pass physical water test in Aquatics Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to motivate others; have enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens Benefits You’ll LoveApproximately 5 weeks of paid time off annually3 weeks of paid holidaysPremium free health insuranceFlexible spending accountsShort-term disabilityLife insurance401k with match
