IT Support Engineer (Freelance)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable freelance IT Support Engineer for an ongoing onsite project. We need a hands-on professional who can independently troubleshoot, configure, and install a range of IT systems, with a strong focus on VoIP, networking, and security infrastructure. This role is perfect for a problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment and can deliver high-quality technical support. *Key Responsibilities* * 3CX Phone System: Install, configure, and maintain 3CX VoIP systems, including SIP trunking, extensions, and routing. * Networking: Assist with networking issues, including LAN and WAN configurations, and support routers and switching infrastructure. * Security Cameras: Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, including IP cameras and NVR setups (experience with Hikvision systems is a plus). * Cabling & Wiring: Perform site assessments, structured cabling, and system testing. * Onsite Support: Provide timely and effective technical support and issue resolution for clients on-site. * Documentation: Document support interactions and solutions in accordance with company policies. *Qualifications & Requirements* * Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support or installation role . * Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise with: * 3CX VoIP systems and troubleshooting. * Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching). * Security Camera installation and configuration (NVR, IP cameras). * Structured cabling and wiring. * Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills with a professional and client-first approach. * Independence: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and solve problems proactively. * Transport: Must have reliable transport to travel to client sites as needed Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
