Title: Lead Java Engineer with EcommerceLocation: Plano, Texas, US (Hybrid)Duration: ContractJob Description:Design and develop enterprise level, high-volume web applications platforms and state of the art technical solutions leveraging Java and JEE platform technologies.Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to the Java development teamsResponsible for designing solutions, developing, implementing, maintaining and supporting Java based components and interfacesLeading project teams of Java/J2ee/Spring/Spark/Database developers, including mentoring, architecting, breaking features into stories and follow throughParticipate in design discussions and solution design sessions with product management and software development teamsContribute to the evaluation, prototyping and selection of software solutionsApply Test Driven Development practices and software quality measurement toolsCoordinate with the various teams such as Quality Assurance, DevOps, Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering(SRE) to ensure stable development environmentWork with Product/Business teams to understand business needs and create technical solutionsTechnical Skills:10+ years of experience developing in Java technologies with equivalent experience in systems analysis, OO design, OO programming and debugging skills4+ Experience in technology stack including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Gradle, Microservices Architecture, REST, Java 1.8, SparkExperience No SQL(Cassandra)/ in SQL(Oracle)Experience in Spark Programming – nice to haveExperience with build and deployment using Git/Stash/Jenkins etc.eCommerce experience (Retail) – nice to haveExperience working with Agile/scrum teams
