Location: remote or office at Carlsbad, CAJob Type: full timeDepartment: AdminReports To: Director Procurement manager and CEOJob Summary:We’re looking for a consultant with deep experience in U.S. trade, import/export, and customs compliance, at a customs-broker or equivalent level, to support regulatory applications and approvals for a U.S.-based manufacturing company.This role requires someone who is comfortable with regulatory paperwork, government filings, and persistent follow-through with agencies until approvals are secured.You should be comfortable with:Import/export regulations and customs processesRegulatory filings, applications, and documentationWorking with CBP and related authoritiesManaging long, detail-heavy approval processesStrong preference for experience with:Foreign-Trade Zones (FTZ) or similar trade programsManufacturing or import-heavy operationsDetails:Contract / consulting roleRemote (U.S.)Project-based or part-timeIf you’ve lived inside trade compliance, know how to push approvals across the finish line, and don’t mind regulatory grind, let’s talk.Preferred Qualifications:Required (one of the following):Bachelor’s degree in:International TradeSupply Chain / LogisticsBusinessEconomicsOr equivalent professional experienceOREquivalent experience gained through customs brokerage, trade compliance, or regulatory roles
