Event Security Officer (Part-Time / Seasonal)KRE Security, LLC is seeking professional, dependable Event Security Officers to support a wide range of events throughout the Harrisburg region, including festivals, concerts, corporate functions, and community gatherings. This role is ideal for individuals who are alert, customer-focused, and capable of maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.Key responsibilities include:Provide a visible security presence to deter and respond to incidentsMonitor entrances, exits, and crowd activityCheck credentials and control access points as neededRespond promptly to disturbances, emergencies, or safety concernsCoordinate with event staff, local authorities, and emergency services when necessaryWrite clear and accurate incident reportsDeliver excellent customer service while enforcing event policiesQualifications include:Strong observational and communication skillsAbility to remain calm and professional under pressureAvailability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekendsReliable transportation to event locations in the Harrisburg areaAbility to stand or walk for extended periodsPrior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred but not requiredValid guard card/license (if required by Pennsylvania law) or willingness to obtainWhat we offer:Competitive hourly pay ($16$20/hour depending on experience)Flexible, event-based schedulingOpportunities to work high-profile and community eventsProfessional development and training opportunities
