MaineHealth is seeking aPatient Service Coordinatorto join ourCardiovascular Surgeryteam in Portland.In this vital role, you will be the front-line support for patients undergoing open-heart surgery, assisting them through pre-op testing, surgical scheduling, and post-op appointments. Oursurgeons rely heavily on their PSCs, and you’ll play a key role in keeping care moving forward.What You’ll DoManage complex scheduling and coordination for patient appointments and proceduresServe as a point of contact for patients, families, and providersProvide administrative and clerical support within a fast-paced clinical environmentHelp maintain continuity of care through excellent communication and attention to detailWhat We’re Looking For2+ years of administrative experience in a patient services settingStrong organizational, communication, and multitasking skillsA proactive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for helping othersComfort with electronic medical records and scheduling systemsAbility to work onsite with limited remote flexibility after 1 year of on-site trainingWhy Join Us?You’ll be part of afantastic surgical teamdedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care.
