Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer (Enterprise & Multi-Site Infrastructure)We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing support of a complex, multi-site enterprise network environment. This role is responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and high-performing network solutions across corporate, branch, and cloud-connected environments.This individual will serve as a subject matter expert across networking and security domains, driving both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of hands-on engineering experience, advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to lead projects and influence network architecture decisions.Key Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and support enterprise network solutions across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, VPN, and cloud environmentsArchitect scalable, highly available network infrastructures with robust routing, switching, and segmentation strategiesLead network implementations including new site builds, relocations, upgrades, and technology refreshesProvide advanced troubleshooting and Tier 3 support for complex network issues across multi-site environmentsEngineer and maintain network security controls including firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, and secure access solutionsMonitor network performance, optimize reliability and scalability, and drive continuous improvementsMaintain and develop detailed network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and standardsPartner with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to support deployments, escalations, and ongoing operationsSupport compliance, security audits, and vulnerability remediation effortsEvaluate emerging technologies and contribute to modernization initiatives including SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud networkingLead or contribute to infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communicationQualifications:5–10+ years of experience in network engineering within enterprise or multi-site environmentsStrong expertise in routing and switching (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, subnetting, QoS, etc.)Hands-on experience with firewalls, SD-WAN, and network security technologiesExperience supporting LAN/WAN environments, ISP coordination, and site deploymentsProven ability to troubleshoot across layers 1–3, including physical and logical network issuesExperience with enterprise networking platforms (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Meraki, etc.)Strong understanding of network security principles including segmentation, Zero Trust, and access controlExcellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work both independently and collaborativelyPreferred Qualifications:Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalentExperience with SD-WAN, SASE/SSE, or cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)Familiarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible)Experience in distributed environments such as retail, manufacturing, or multi-branch organizations
