Part-Time K-8 Music TeacherSt. Anthony Catholic School is a historic and picturesque VPK-8th Grade Diocesan School located in San Antonio, Florida, just 35 minutes north of Tampa. We are seeking to hire a part-time K-8 Music teacher for the 26-27 school year. We are seeking someone who consistently strives for what is best for students, who is creative and collaborative, who never stops learning, and who wants to be a part of a team that has high expectations of themselves and their students.Requirements:Candidates for this position need to support the mission of Catholic EducationMinimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityFlorida Teaching Certificate or eligible to obtain a Florida Teaching Certificate is preferredThe ideal candidate has 3-5 years teaching experience in an elementary or middle school settingResponsibilities:Develop and implement engaging unit and lesson plans that align with standardsAssess and evaluate student performance through various methodsManage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environmentCollaborate with other educators and staff to help fulfill our school missionMaintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activitiesLead and organize the school-wide Christmas programEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level II background screening and Safe Environment Training.In compliance with Florida HB 531, the Florida Background Screening Clearinghouse Education and Awareness website can be found at https://info.flclearinghouse.com
