The COO will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations across various departments, ensuring that all activities align with the Foundation's mission, strategic priorities, and financial goals. This includes translating organizational strategy into operational plans, establishing key performance indicators, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders to advance the long-term vision of the Foundation, which is deeply rooted in the preservation and celebration of Native American culture and heritage.Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (MBA or related graduate degree preferred) and 10-15 years' of progressive leadership experience, with at least 7-10 years' in an executive or senior leadership role. Strong financial literacy, experience in strategic planning, and a proven track record in operational management are essential. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative leadership style, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a deep respect for the cultural mission of the organization. Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven environments is highly desirable.
