Remote Technical Write

Role Description This part-time Remote Technical Writer role at Grupo WK focuses on creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical content for internal and external audiences. Day-to-day tasks include drafting, reviewing, and updating technical documentation, such as user guides, process descriptions, and product specifications, based on input from engineers, product managers, and support teams. The Technical Writer will translate complex concepts into accessible language, maintain documentation standards and templates, and ensure all materials are consistent with branding and compliance requirements. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather information, organizing content within documentation repositories, and participating in regular reviews to keep materials current and aligned with product updates. This is a remote position, requiring comfort with virtual collaboration tools and independent organization of priorities and deadlines.Qualifications Strong skills in Technical Writing and Technical Communication, with the ability to explain complex information in clear, concise language.Experience creating and maintaining Technical Documentation and general Documentation for software, systems, or technical products.Ability to develop structured Manuals and user guides that are logically organized and easy to navigate.Excellent written English and attention to detail, including grammar, formatting, and consistency.Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., Markdown editors, CMS, wiki platforms, or help authoring tools).Comfort working remotely, managing time independently, and collaborating across distributed teams.Basic understanding of software development, IT systems, or engineering workflows is beneficial.Relevant education or experience in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
