PL/SQL Developer

Job Title: Senior Database Developer (PL/SQL / Snowflake)Location: Jersey City, NJ / Houston, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Database Developer with strong expertise in PL/SQL and Snowflake to support enterprise data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in database development, performance tuning, and data integration, along with experience working in modern cloud-based data environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggersDevelop and optimize Snowflake data models, including schemas, tables, and viewsWrite and tune complex SQL queries for performance and scalabilityImplement and support data integration pipelines between Oracle and SnowflakePerform performance tuning and query optimization in both Oracle and Snowflake environmentsManage and troubleshoot Autosys job scheduling and batch processesTranslate business requirements into technical solutionsEnsure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environmentsRequired Skills & Experience8+ years of experience in database developmentStrong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL developmentHands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, integration)Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queriesExperience with Autosys scheduling and job managementUnderstanding of data warehouse concepts and data modelingAbility to work in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite)Preferred SkillsExperience with Python for data processing or automationExposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, ODI, etc.)Domain experience in Insurance or Financial ServicesNice to HaveExperience working with data lakes and modern data architecturesFamiliarity with Snowflake internals and advanced optimization techniques
