CNC Lynx Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machinist to join our team, specializing in operating and setting up Doosan/DN Solutions Lynx 2-axis turning centers. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-performance turning, setting up tools, and ensuring the precision of machined components. Position is 2nd shift working 4:30pm to 3am, Monday to Thursday Enjoy a 12% shift premium including in the wages listed Qualifications:Associates in Machine Tool Technology preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent experienceMinimum 2-3 years of experience operating 2-axis CNC lathes.High attention to detail in all job dutiesStrong knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T and related mechanical inspection methodsStrong understanding of metal cutting principles (feeds and speeds).Great oral communication skillsMust be a US CitizenMust be able to pass a drug test and background screeningResponsibilities:Set up, troubleshoot and operate Doosan Lynx 2-Axis CNC lathes for both low and high volume productionPerform First Article and in-process inspection to exacting standards with various Hard Gaging, Micrometer, Caliper, Vision System and Optical ComparatorLoad and unload parts, ensuring the machine maintains continuous operation.Perform basic daily maintenance, including removing chips and cleaning the spindle/collet.Trouble shoot complex machining and job problems with minimal supervisionCompensation:This Hourly position offers a pay range of $25.00 to $30.00 depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to pay transparency and ensuring fair compensation based on market standards for similar roles within our company.
