Hair Stylist Assistant

Job Summary As a Hair Stylist assistant, you will be responsible for providing hair care, under a supervised color tech, with the benefits of advancing your knowledge in cosmetology. Requirements - Cosmetology license under the state of Colorado Responsibilities - Provide hair services such as color prep, color services, advanced color techniques, styling, and finishing services - Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques - Assisting and providing hair care needs to an established and "up-scale" client base while receiving training and mentoring under a long term color specialist - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards of tools and work areas - Recommend hair care products to clients for at-home maintenance Skills - Proficiency in salon software (Square) for scheduling and client management - Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a clean and safe environment - Strong customer service skills Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship, Temporary Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Night Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: Lone Tree, CO 80124 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Lone Tree, CO 80124: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
