Assembler/Production Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Assembler/Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling components, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring the quality and precision of finished products. Duties Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment, following detailed assembly instructions and schematics. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents to ensure correct assembly and adherence to specifications. Measure parts accurately utilizing precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math techniques. Use schematic diagrams and technical drawings to guide assembly processes and troubleshoot issues. Perform quality checks on assembled products using measuring instruments and visual inspection to meet quality standards. Handle manual tasks including component placement, fastening, soldering, and minor machining as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist in the setup and calibration of machinery or tools necessary for assembly operations. Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on processes or potential efficiencies. Requirements Proven experience with mechanical assembly, manufacturing processes, or related industrial roles. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Skilled in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools. Knowledge of shop math principles relevant to manufacturing environments. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment. Ability to interpret technical documents including production instructions and schematics. Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of machining or soldering techniques is preferred. Strong manual dexterity and manual handling skills for precise assembly tasks. Commitment to safety practices including proper PPE use in an industrial setting. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
