Akkodis is seeking a Process Improvement Consultant role is a 3 to 6 Months Contract with a client located in Portland, OR. Pay Range: $40-$48/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Improvement Consultant to support ambulatory access initiatives across a large academic healthcare system. In this role, you will provide leadership, coaching, and technical expertise to improve patient access, optimize capacity management, and drive enterprise level performance improvement strategies.This is a highly visible position working closely with senior leaders, physicians, and operational teams to advance strategic initiatives and improve access to care.What You’ll DoLead Strategy DeploymentDrive structured problem solving using A3 methodology and Lean principles across ambulatory carePartner with executive leadership to align performance improvement work with strategic goalsSupport development and execution of enterprise wide performance excellence initiativesProvide Expert Coaching and ConsultationServe as a trusted advisor on Lean and performance improvement methodologiesCoach senior leaders, managers, and teams to implement and sustain improvement practicesSupport development of internal performance improvement staff and consultantsFacilitate Complex Improvement InitiativesLead large scale, high impact projects focused on improving access and operational performanceApply advanced Lean tools and change management techniquesEstablish standard work and management systems to ensure sustainability of improvementsDeliver Training and EducationDesign and deliver training programs for leaders and teamsDevelop curriculum focused on patient access, performance improvement, and operational excellenceBuild internal capability across the organization through education and coachingRequired QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, engineering, science, or a related fieldRelevant training in Lean, performance improvement, change management, or project managementExperienceMinimum 7 years of performance improvement experienceOR5 years of healthcare experience plus 3 years of leadership or performance improvement experienceHands on experience with Lean methodologiesExperience facilitating training and coaching teamsPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degreeExperience working with senior leadership at the system or service line levelHealthcare setting experience strongly preferredKey Skills and KnowledgeStrong facilitation and project management skills with proven success in Lean initiativesAdvanced knowledge of Lean tools, methods, and process improvement techniquesAbility to coach and influence at all levels of an organizationStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with data analysis and statistical toolsProficiency with Microsoft Office and related business applicationsCertificationsRequired: Lean CertificationPreferred: Six Sigma Master Black Belt or Lean SenseiChange Management certificationEPIC Cadence certificationIf you feel this is not something that you are currently interested in, but know of someone, that might be, please share the details with them or let me know their details so I can reach out to them!
