Facility: Mayfair Care CenterPosition: Experienced Registered DietitianLocation: Hempstead, NYSchedule: Full-TimeSalary: $40–$45 per hourJoin Our Team as a Registered DietitianMayfair Care Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team. In this role, you will provide medical nutrition therapy, develop individualized dietary plans, and educate residents on healthy lifestyle choices. This position requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, resident-centered care in a skilled nursing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess residents’ nutritional needs, preferences, and risksDevelop, implement, and monitor individualized dietary care plans using MDS (Resident Assessment Instrument)Ensure menus and therapeutic diets comply with physician orders and regulatory requirementsSupervise food service staff to maintain quality, safety, and efficiencyCoordinate dietary services with nursing, social services, activities, and environmental departmentsMaintain accurate documentation, reports, and dietary recordsParticipate in state and federal surveys and assist with corrective action plansProvide nutrition education to residents and familiesEnsure appropriate meal substitutions of equal nutritional value when neededAttend interdisciplinary meetings and facility committeesMaintain HIPAA compliance and uphold resident rights at all timesQualificationsCurrent, active Registered Dietitian license in New York (unencumbered)Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field from an accredited institutionMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferredStrong knowledge of clinical nutrition, diet therapy, and food service managementExperience with Sigma Care and Geri Menu systems preferredExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsRequirementsPrior nursing home/SNF experience requiredAbility to analyze food service cost reports and financial dataExperience with cost control, food management, and therapeutic diet planningBenefitsComprehensive Medical & Dental CoverageGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO)401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Recognition ProgramSupportive, team-oriented work environmentCompany perks and employee discountsIf you are a dedicated Registered Dietitian looking to make a meaningful impact on residents’ health and well-being, we encourage you to apply today.IND123
