Private Security Executive Manager

About Spartan Security Group Spartan Security Group is a professional private security company providing armed and unarmed services across Oregon and expanding into additional markets. We specialize in construction security, government contracts, patrol services, and high-profile assignments. We are seeking an experienced Executive Manager to lead operations, people, and performance in our Portland division. This role is not entry-level and is designed for seasoned security leaders who understand both field operations and executive accountability. Position Summary The Executive Manager is responsible for overseeing regional operations, supervising management staff, ensuring compliance with Oregon regulations, maintaining client relationships, and driving operational excellence. This position reports directly to company ownership and plays a critical role in strategic planning and growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations for assigned region and contracts Supervise site supervisors, managers, and administrative staff Ensure compliance with Oregon DPSST requirements, company SOPs, and client contracts Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and operational readiness Conduct performance evaluations, corrective action, and leadership development Serve as a primary point of contact for high-value clients and stakeholders Coordinate incident response, reporting, and post-incident reviews Support contract bids, site startups, and operational expansion Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and executive-level judgment at all times Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) Applicants must meet one of the following: Minimum 5 years of security supervisor or security management experience, OR A combination of security leadership experience and formal education that clearly demonstrates equivalent executive-level competency Additional requirements: Proven leadership experience managing teams and operations Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to make sound decisions under pressure Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with multi-site or regional security operations Experience with government or large commercial contracts Familiarity with Oregon DPSST licensing and compliance Experience in executive reporting, budgeting, or contract management Supervisor or Executive Manager DPSST License Compensation & Benefits Competitive salaried compensation (based on experience) Leadership growth opportunities within an expanding organization Company support, executive visibility, and operational autonomy Benefits package details discussed during interview process How to Apply Qualified candidates should apply through Indeed with an updated resume clearly outlining security leadership experience and management responsibilities.
