The Coach will support students in-person, online, via phone and email. Monthly detailed documentation of interactions is required. This position reports to the Director of New Options.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide initial contact with non-traditional students, explain program and initiate forms.Assist with managing office by providing program information in-person and over the phone.Educate students about college processes and connect them to appropriate resources.Provide goal setting structure for students, assist with career objectives and selecting a program of study.Schedule follow-up coaching appointments with students to provide guidance and support them by resolving issues and maintaining balance while acclimating them into the college environment.Maintain a collection of resources to provide to students as needed and connect to on-campus and community support services.Adhere to coaching policies, principles, and procedures.Support students through academic and financial processes including attending meetings.Respond to student inquiries as a priority.Assist with coordinating scholarship applications and awards.Promote positive campus/community relations for the College.Coordinate end of semester celebrations.Update and maintain computer database of potential and enrolled program participants.Document student contact and interactions to provide monthly reports for data collection and Program Assessment.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsAssociate degree required.
