We manage paid media, creative production, websites, automation, and brand development across a growing multi-location franchise network.We are looking for a Video Producer & Editor to help us create better, faster, more effective video content across paid advertising, brand storytelling, recruiting, social media, and franchise marketing.Position Summary The Video Producer & Editor will be responsible for planning, capturing, editing, and delivering high-quality video content that supports lead generation, brand growth, and internal marketing needs across the Honest Abe network.This is not just a video editing role. We are looking for someone who can think creatively, move quickly, stay organized, and help raise the overall quality and consistency of our video output. The ideal candidate understands how to create content that feels polished, modern, and built for marketing performance across digital channels.This role will work closely with leadership, design, paid media, content, and local franchise teams to produce video assets that build trust, generate attention, and support conversion.What You'll DoVideo Production & EditingShoot and edit video content for marketing campaigns, social media, brand storytelling, recruiting, internal communications, and franchise supportCreate both short-form and long-form video assets for paid ads, organic social, websites, email campaigns, and sales supportEdit footage into polished, on-brand content with strong pacing, clean graphics, clear messaging, and platform-appropriate formattingManage raw footage, file organization, version control, and asset deliveryPaid Media & Performance CreativeProduce video ads and motion-based creative for Meta, YouTube, and other digital channelsWork closely with the paid media team to test hooks, offers, messaging, and creative anglesCreate multiple cuts, formats, and variations to support campaign testing and optimizationBrand StorytellingCapture and edit testimonial videos, project highlight videos, behind-the-scenes content, team culture content, and market-specific storiesHelp develop video concepts that make the brand feel more trustworthy, modern, and premiumSupport executive messaging and higher-level brand storytelling when neededField & Franchise ContentTravel as needed to capture jobsite content, customer stories, office footage, team culture, events, and local market assetsCoordinate with franchise teams to plan useful content shoots that can support both local and brand-wide marketingHelp standardize content capture workflows so footage is more usable and repeatableCollaboration & Creative ExecutionWork closely with the Senior Brand Designer, content/social team, and leadership to ensure strong creative consistencyAdd motion graphics, light animation, captions, text overlays, music, and transitions as neededHelp shape content ideas, shot lists, and production plans before filmingWorkflow & Production ManagementKeep projects moving on time and communicate clearly about timelines, footage needs, and deliverablesMaintain organized project files, editing templates, exports, and archive systemsHelp improve video production systems, templates, and turnaround speedWhat You Bring3+ years of professional video production and editing experienceStrong portfolio showing both video shooting and editing workProficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After EffectsStrong understanding of framing, lighting, audio, pacing, and storytellingExperience creating content for social media, digital marketing, and paid advertisingAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines without sacrificing qualityStrong attention to detail, organization, and follow-throughAbility to take direction while also bringing creative ideas and initiativePreferred QualificationsExperience producing performance-driven video adsExperience with motion graphics, animated text, and branded video systemsExperience creating content for home services, construction, automotive, or other fast-paced field-based businessesExperience with YouTube, Meta, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and short-form video formatsDrone experience or FAA Part 107 certificationFamiliarity with Sony camera systems or similar production equipmentExperience coordinating shoots with internal teams and non-professional on-camera talentTools & PlatformsAdobe Premiere ProAdobe After EffectsAdobe Media EncoderFrame.io or similar review toolsGoogle WorkspaceAsana or similar project management toolsProfessional camera, audio, and lighting equipmentWhy Join Honest Abe RoofingBe part of a growing in-house marketing team with real ownership and impactCreate content that supports paid media, brand growth, recruiting, and franchise marketingWork closely with leadership and cross-functional teams instead of operating in a siloHelp shape the visual storytelling of a nationally recognized brandJoin a company that values speed, creativity, accountability, and measurable resultsWork LocationThis is an in-house role based in Terre Haute, Indiana.
