This opportunity focuses on improving efficiency, reducing duplicate documentation, and supporting safe, effective patient care in a high‑acuity environment.OPPORTUNITY3-month contract with extension; Onsite: Baltimore, Maryland, USASALARY $140,000 – $155,000 W2 contract plus benefits KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWork onsite with Labor & Delivery teams to understand current workflows and identify process improvement opportunities.Provide workflow analysis and redesign to address double documentation and inefficiencies.Support, configure, and enhance GE Centricity Perinatal (CPN) solutions.Submit and manage system change requests, coordinate testing, and validate successful implementation.Participate in meetings, lead workgroups, and support clinical users through go‑live and optimization efforts.Develop training materials and provide user education as needed.Ensure systems and workflows comply with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.KEY EXPERIENCEGE Centricity Perinatal (CPN) experience – requiredStrong knowledge of Labor & Delivery clinical workflowsExperience working with EMRs and clinical information systems in acute care settingsSolid understanding of healthcare data, documentation standards, and clinical informaticsKnowledgeable with healthcare terminologies and code sets (SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD‑10, CPT, etc.)Independent, critical thinker comfortable working in a dynamic clinical environmentBachelor’s degree in Clinical Informatics, Healthcare, IT, or equivalent relevant experienceINTERVIEW PROCESSQuick turnaround: preliminary interview followed by team interview on phone and Google Meets.Typically, one round with the hiring manager, joined by the team (virtual interview), possibly two rounds if necessary.Orion Groups is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
