Home Health Aide: $17/hr: Monday - Friday 9am-3pm (Indianapolis, IN 46123)
Job Summary

Working Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, you will provide essential in-home support to individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional care. Duties
Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
Monitor and observe patient conditions, including vital signs and overall health status
Assist with Medication Reminders
Support patients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, and hospice care
Maintain detailed medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and compliance
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation
Support clients with developmental disabilities or long-term care needs through personalized caregiving strategies
Use EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR systems to update patient information accurately and efficiently
Follow all safety protocols including infection control procedures
Experience
Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring memory care
Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care standards essential for success in this role
Experience with medical documentation systems such as EMR or EHR is highly desirable
Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines
Long-term care experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates committed to learning
CPR certification preferred; additional certifications such as hospice care or catheter care are a plus
