Truss Plant Supervisor 2nd Shift

Truss Plant SupervisorTibbetts Lumber Co. LLC, a growing Lumber and Building Materials company, is seeking a Truss Plant Supervisor for our 2nd shift. The Truss Plant Supervisor is responsible for the overall performance of the manufacturing facility, including production, quality, and safety, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manage truss production outputDevelop, review and coordinate daily production plans, while identifying and solving problems that may impact productionPlan and assign work schedules of associates to meet the needs of plant operationsDevelop associates with cross-training programs to expand the skill levels of associatesOversee safety training programs and conduct safety meetings to ensure adherence to all government and company policiesMonitor associate performance, conduct and work behavior; provide coaching and training tips to ensure adherence to company standards for quality and quantity of workPerform final inspection of finished products prior to deliveryCommunicate with the Operations Manager to provide status updates, production goals, concerns and problem resolution; participate in strategy sessionsManage machinery and equipment maintenance procedures and schedules and cleanup routines for workstations to ensure that production is uninterruptedProvide superior customer service to internal and external customers at all timesAll other duties as assignedExperience Required:2+ years in a wood component manufacturing operation3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role in a manufacturing facilityExperience in truss cutting and assemblyMaintenance experience of truss equipment would be helpfulAssociate's degree or equivalent work experienceKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Understanding of floor and roof truss designFamiliar with TCT saws and Alpine-Style Gantries with automationKnowledge in loading and shipping methodsStrong written and oral communication skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsProficient knowledge in Microsoft OfficeBilingual in English and Spanish is preferredBenefits:Competitive wagesMedical insuranceDental insuranceLife insuranceShort & Long Term Disability401(k) planVacation, Sick & Holiday payHealth Savings AccountLegal Disclosures:Tibbetts Lumber Co.
