We are seeking a an Account Manager to join our chemical industry client’s team in Dallas, TX.Job Summary:Sales Account Manager – Southeast U.S. Location: Dallas, Texas Reports To: North American Commercial Director Job Summary We are seeking a Sales Account Manager – Southwest U.S. to manage and grow sales of our client's chemical additives product lines across the Southeastern territory. This position is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and achieving sales and profitability targets. The Sales Account Manager will collaborate closely with the North American Commercial Team, R&D, and Supply Chain to deliver innovative, value-driven solutions to customers. Key Responsibilities Develop, manage, and grow assigned regional sales territory in alignment with company strategy and objectives. Build and maintain excellent working relationships with existing and new customers through regular, face-to-face contact as outlined in the calling plan. Deliver budgeted sales and margin targets for the territory while expanding customer base and market share. Identify and secure new customers, applications, and business opportunities for existing and new products. Develop account-specific strategies, establish key account plans, and maintain updated customer forecasts. Prepare and present formal presentations for customers and internal stakeholders; actively participate in regional and national sales meetings. Support the development and execution of annual marketing and business plans, working cross-functionally with other departments. Provide technical support to customers in collaboration with internal technical and R&D teams. Represent our client at industry associations, trade shows, and events. Maintain accurate customer records, pricing, and activity reports in CRM systems. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to inform strategic decisions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related field required. Minimum 3 years of sales experience within the chemical manufacturing industry. Strong background in technical sales, customer development, and commercial negotiations. Experience in PVC or polymer additives applications highly preferred; knowledge of organotin catalysts a plus. Proven ability to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems. Highly motivated self-starter with a strategic mindset and strong business acumen. Must reside within or be willing to relocate to the Southeastern U.S., preferably near Atlanta, GA. Ability to travel up to 50% across the region.
