Engineering Manager – Multi-Site Manufacturing Location: North America (Travel Required) Reports To: Senior Engineering LeadershipAbout the Role: A growing, global manufacturing organization is seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple production facilities. The organization prioritizes operational excellence, innovation, and sustainability, and this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on engineering strategy and plant performance.Role Overview: The Engineering Manager will oversee engineering operations, capital project execution, and process optimization across multiple sites. This position is ideal for a technical leader with strong expertise in project management, industrial engineering, and operational improvement, who can collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive measurable results.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage capital projects from planning through commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Develop project scopes, timelines, and cost estimates, including CapEx proposals and contractor evaluations.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing operations.Collaborate with Operations to identify engineering opportunities and improve plant performance.Monitor project execution, including schedules, budgets, and risks.Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors, including negotiations and performance oversight.Oversee spare parts procurement, inventory management, and engineering stores.Drive energy optimization initiatives and identify efficiency opportunities.Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.Establish and track engineering KPIs to measure performance and benchmark against industry best practices.Support sustainability initiatives and maintain alignment with environmental regulations.Provide technical training and mentorship to engineering and operations teams.Qualifications & Skills:Required:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.10+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing environments (food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or similar).Strong experience in project planning, CapEx management, and equipment commissioning.Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in fast-paced settings.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in industrial operations.Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills across teams.Preferred:Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.Experience with sustainability, energy management, or environmental compliance.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.Experience leading engineering functions in multi-site manufacturing operations.Why This Role: This is an exciting opportunity for an engineering leader to take ownership of high-impact projects across multiple facilities, influence operational strategy, and contribute to the organization’s sustainability and efficiency goals.
