Software Development Engineer in Test

EngineeringDallas, TXFull-time About this role As an SDET at LMK Infotech you will partner with developers and QA teams to design, develop, and execute automated tests across multiple layers of the stack. Your work will directly impact release velocity and product reliability while you stay current on emerging testing tools and best practices. What you'll do Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing Write and run automated test scripts using Java and Groovy Perform RESTful API testing and validate responses with Postman or RestAssured Create and execute SQL queries for data validation in database tests Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins Analyze test results, log defects, and collaborate on timely resolutions Continuously research and recommend new automation tools and practices What we're looking for Strong programming skills in Java and Groovy Hands‑on experience with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit or equivalent frameworks Proficiency in REST API testing using Postman or RestAssured Solid SQL knowledge for database validation Deep understanding of software testing principles and methodologies Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Git, Maven Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills Bonus points AWS experience and familiarity with cloud-based testing environments Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling Experience with containerization (Docker) for test environments What we offer Remote-first with async collaboration and flexible hours Competitive salary with equity Unlimited PTO Learning and conference budget Home office stipend Health, dental, and vision coverage
