Laurel lives our mission: to inspire each girl to fulfill her promise and to better the world.Position SummaryLaurel School seeks dynamic and passionate individuals who are interested in working as a substitute teacher at the Lyman campus (Grades PP-2) and/or the Butler campus (Grades 3-5).Duties And Responsibilities IncludeFollow lesson plans as set forth by the classroom teacherAssist with students in the dining room, study halls and on field tripsAbility to judge classroom dynamics and take necessary actionWilling to be on callRequirementsThe successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and possess or acquire and maintain a State of Ohio issued teaching license, non tax certificate or substitute license. Previous teaching experience in applicants' preferred discipline and grade level is preferred. The successful candidate will also possess a positive attitude, excellent written and verbal skills, strong organizational skills, and proven success within a work setting that requires collaboration, cooperation, and collegiality.
