BUDTENDERJob Summary: As a Budtender at The Higher Collective, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, educating clients about cannabis products, and ensuring compliance with all state and local regulations. Your knowledge, enthusiasm, and dedication to assisting customers in their cannabis journey will contribute to a positive and professional dispensary experience.Responsibilities:Greet and welcome customers as they enter the dispensary, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphereEngage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and desired effects from cannabis productsProvide accurate and relevant information about different strains, products, consumption methods, and potential effectsAssist customers in making informed decisions based on their individual preferences and needsOperate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions, handle cash, and maintain proper inventory recordsMaintain an organized and clean retail space, ensuring that products are properly displayed and stockedAdhere to all state and local regulations regarding the sale, distribution, and possession of cannabis productsVerify customer identification and age to ensure compliance with legal requirementsCollaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer serviceStay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and changes in regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customersHandle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and effectivelyUphold a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive customer informationAssist in conducting regular inventory audits and restocking products as neededParticipate in ongoing training and education programs related to cannabis products, safety protocols, and customer serviceQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a retail or hospitality settingStrong knowledge and/or willing to learn cannabis strains, products, and consumption methodsFamiliarity with state and local cannabis regulations and complianceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectivelyAttention to detail and accuracy when processing transactionsPositive and enthusiastic attitude towards cannabis and its potential benefitsAbility to maintain professionalism and integrity while working in a highly regulated industryMust be at least 21 years of age and eligible for employment in the cannabis industryPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods and move up to 20 poundsComfortable working in a cannabis-related environmentPowered by JazzHRW6hlKc1HjL
