Senior Quantity Surveyor Our client is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team of professionals. Responsibilities:Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycleProvide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost planReview and participate with the design services team and general contractor, in the development of the cost estimatesReconcile changes and assist the general contractor to ensure that their data is accurateCommunicate or meet with the general contractor and owner project manager to gather status information to prepare a cost estimate updatePrepare written comments on the general contractor's submissions, including the executive summary Key requirements:Degree in quantity surveying/cost engineering/cost management or related majorsRICS accredited or working towardsHave at least 5 years of experience in cost estimation, cost control and contract managementCivil Engineering project experience (rail, bridges, roads, structures, earthworksGood knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management and value engineering for example) If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or by emailing your resume to engineers@rpo-recruit.us.com Alternatively, you are welcome to contact either Meghan Groves at 480-546-6432 or Dawn McIntyre at 480-546-6438.
